This policy describes what personal data we process when you use the inovativa.cz website, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have.
2. What data we process
Contact and inquiry form data. Name, company name, email, phone, information about your inquiry (area of interest, indicative budget, project description) and other details you provide in your inquiry.
Newsletter data. Email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter.
Cookie and analytics data. Information about your device and behavior on the website obtained through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
3. Purpose and legal basis
Handling inquiries and communication. We process form data to contact you and respond to your inquiry. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Sending the newsletter. We process your email based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time.
Analytics and marketing. We use analytics and marketing cookies based on your consent given in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Essential website operation. We process necessary cookies based on our legitimate interest in the proper functioning of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Cookies
The website uses cookies grouped into three categories. Necessary cookies are essential for the website to work and cannot be disabled. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent, which you can change at any time in the cookie settings on the website.

5. Recipients and processors
We may share your data with trusted processors who help us run the website and services:
- Vercel, the website hosting provider,
- Google (Google Analytics), for traffic measurement,
- Meta Platforms (Facebook), for marketing and ad measurement,
- LinkedIn, for marketing and campaign measurement,
- Mailchimp, for sending the newsletter.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes and we do not sell it.
6. Retention period
We keep inquiry data for as long as necessary to handle it and then for 1 year from the last contact, unless another legal ground requires longer retention.
We keep newsletter data until you withdraw your consent.
We keep cookies for the duration stated in the table in Section 4.
7. Transfers outside the EU
Some processors (in particular Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Vercel and Mailchimp) may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In such cases the transfer is secured by appropriate safeguards under GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision (the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
8. Your rights
In relation to your personal data, you have the right:
- to access the data and obtain a copy,
- to rectify inaccurate data,
- to erasure (the "right to be forgotten"),
- to restriction of processing,
- to data portability,
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal,
- to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).

9. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always available on the website. We may notify you of material changes in an appropriate way.
11. Effective date
This policy takes effect on 10 June 2025.
